You may be aware that the HowdidIdo App is changing. A brand new App is being launched and this new App requires an annual subscription for each user. If buying the app it is £2.99 per annum for an App with adverts, or £9.99 for an ad free version.

The existing App will still work for a time, but will discontinue sometime in 2026.

PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS NEW APP -- YET!

The council are looking into whether we should purchase this app on behalf of members - and this would be the ad free version if we do.

If we decide to purchase the app on your behalf then we will let you know in plenty of time for the season starting.

Please note that if we do purchase the app on behalf of all members, we will not be in a position to refund any money spent by individuals purchasing the app.

One additional point to note is that the app is Golf club specific, so if you are a member of more than one club, your second club may have their own arrangements, or you may have to purchase a second subscription to cover your other club.

A final point to note is that if you use the website version of Howdidido, through a laptop or through your phone's browser, then the service is free (though the website will carry adverts).

We will let you know as soon as possible if we plan to go ahead with the bulk purchase.
