SENIORS TEAM 2026

The seniors’ team once again will take part in the North West Seniors League in 2026.
Anyone who is a member of two courses will only be allowed to play if your main course is Hart Common.
North West Seniors League
You must be 55 or over on the day of the match to qualify as a senior.
The format is 4BBB match play with a maximum applicable handicap Index of 21, (if your handicap is above 21 index you can still play, but if selected you must play off 21index.)
The team consists of twelve players (6 pairs) playing home & away. The cost of each match will be confirmed nearer the time.
Each match usually starts at between 10 and 10:30 and is preceded by tea/coffee and biscuits followed by a meal after the match which is to be confirmed a week prior to each match..

Hurlston Hall, Longridge, Mytton Fold, Wilpshire, Dean Wood, Hindley Hall, Mersey Valley

Manchester Alliance Seniors Matchplay knockout competition.
In addition to playing in the North West Seniors League we also enter the Manchester Alliance Seniors Match play knockout competition.
This format is slightly different, ten players (5 pairs), 5 with a handicap index below 15, and 5 with a handicap index of between 15.1 & 24.
Minimum age of 55 on the 1st of January 2026
Any player representing the club MUST have submitted a minimum of 5 acceptable scores for handicap purposes in the last 12 months prior to the date of the match.
