Course Update
I’m pleased to confirm that all 18 holes will be open from tomorrow morning. The greenkeeping team has worked extremely hard to prepare the top end of the course and get it ready for play.
There are still a few boggy areas which are not marked, so please use common sense and avoid taking trolleys through these sections. As a reminder, if water appears on the surface when taking your stance, you are entitled to take casual water relief.
Captain’s Charity Texas Scramble - Sunday
Sunday’s competition will go ahead as planned. While the forecast suggests some light rain during the morning, we do not anticipate this affecting play.
Tees & Handicaps
• Men will all play from the yellow tees and handicaps will be calculated using the yellow tee course rating.
• Ladies will all play from the red tees and handicaps will be calculated using the red tee course rating.
The booking system will be updated accordingly, and you will be able to view your team handicap calculation.
With this being a shotgun start and all 128 players arriving at a similar time, please ensure you have sufficient credit on your swipe card for the £5 entry fee. This will be deducted when you sign-in and will help reduce congestion in the Pro Shop.
Scorecards will be prepared in advance, with team handicaps clearly shown.
Competition Format – Texas Scramble
This is a Texas Scramble format:
• Each player must contribute a minimum of four drives, which should be clearly marked on the scorecard.
• You may place your ball within 6 inches anywhere through the green, including in the rough and in bunkers.
In the event that any groups play as a 3 ball, they should still follow the same competition rules, with each player required to contribute four drives each. After the round, the team handicap will be recalculated to reflect three players rather than four.
At the conclusion of your round, please return your completed scorecard to the Pro Shop. The prize presentation will take place shortly after the final card has been received.

17 men played in the Midweek Stableford competition over 12 holes on Wednesday. Congratulations to Andy Hamilton for winning the event with 24 points. Matt Hansford came second with 23 points. The full results are attached.
