Dear Members,

Following what has been an exceptionally long and wet winter period, I am pleased to confirm that we are planning to reopen the golf course on Tuesday next week.

From this date:

The full 18 holes will be in play
Play will commence from the 1st tee
We will continue to use the orange and blue tees

Importantly, the orange and blue tees will be set up as a measured course, meaning members will be able to submit qualifying scores for handicap purposes. If you are looking to update your handicap index or reactivate an inactive handicap, you will be able to do so.

The yellow and green tees are scheduled to return later this month, with the white tees following thereafter. This phased approach allows us to protect the areas most affected by winter conditions and ensure surfaces continue to recover properly. Reinstatement will remain subject to:

Favourable weather
Ongoing improvement in ground conditions
Course presentation standards being met

This measured reopening reflects the significant work undertaken by the greenkeeping team throughout a challenging winter.
