Presentation of 2025 Charity Funds
In 2025 club members raised over £20,000 for The Alzheimers Society and also funded a new storage unit for the Ely Baby Bank
Following a successful charity fundraising in 2025 at the Links, Captain James Greenall was recently able to present a cheque for over £20,000 to The Alzheimer’s Society. He was also honoured to open a new storage unit for the Ely Baby Bank paid for by the Club.
The Alzheimer’s Society is an incredible organisation supporting so many individuals and families affected by dementia. Accompanied by his wife Sarah and Links General Manager Matt Hartley, James recently presented a cheque to The Alzheimers Society (Cambs & Beds).
The club also supported the Ely Bank Bank through the purchase of a new storage unit. This new space, opened by James, will make a real difference to local families who rely on the baby bank’s support.
