Model Local Rule E-10 with Drop Zones
Protection of Young Trees (No Play Zone)
The 2 areas of young trees located between the 6th and 13th fairways, identified by blue stakes, are No Play Zones that are treated as Abnormal Course Conditions.
If a player’s ball lies in this area, or if the area interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take free relief under Rule 16.1f.
A Drop Zone is provided on each side of the plantations. When taking relief, the player must use the Drop Zone on the same side as the hole being played (this is clearly marked) as an additional option to the relief available under Rule 16.1f.
