Champion of Foxes Crowned!

Last Saturday saw the second installment of our trilogy of 9-Hole Champion trophies!
This time around it was for the Champion of Foxes Run! Once again, there was a solid field of players that took Foxes on!
Looking at the scores, playing Foxes the second time around certainly sorted the men from the boys!
Mark Hyland once again put in a solid performance, pipping Graham Perks to 1st Place in Division 1, with them both finishing with 34 points, but Mark had that 1 extra point on the back 9, which made all the difference!
Scores were also close at the top of Division 2! Peter Montague stayed steady throughout the round to shoot 16 points on the front and 17 points on the back, for a total score of 33 points.
The day, however, belonged to Mike Fazakarley! After a nervy front 9, holding onto 16 points, Mike stepped it up a gear and returned to the clubhouse with 19 points on the back 9, finishing on 35 points! Well played!!
The conclusion of this trilogy is the Champion of Deer Park, which is on Sunday 29th March. Tee Times are still available to book via BRS.
