Course/Competition Update
Course/Competition Update
Mats will no longer be required as of Saturday 28th March 2026.

Until further notice (probably the end of April) please proceed under Model local Rule E-3, summary of which is :

When any part of a player's ball touches part of the general area cut to fairway height or less, the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball in and playing it from this relief area: no nearer the hole and within a scorecard length or 6 inches, you may also clean your ball prior to placing.

The newly constructed paths on the 3rd/12th and 4th/13th please proceed under Abnormal Course Conditions – Including Immovable Instructions (Rule 16).

New drainage constructed please proceed as though these areas are Compulsory GUR (ground under repair).

As we have new competition teeing areas on the 11th and 15th that are still bedding in do not play from until the tee markers direct you otherwise, also these areas are to be treated as compulsory GUR.

We have our first competition of the season on Sunday 29th March 2026 which is a 4 ball betterball. Please note from now until late October Sundays/Wednesdays and numerous Saturdays are competition players only. Please read the Competition Handbook 2026 for further information. This can be found under Documents on the new Howdidido App, or on the members section on the club website.

9 hole competitions begin on Wednesday 1st April 2026 (for the first few weeks, please refer to the fixture list, which can be found as above). Please note you can play a general/casual round but please ensure you book a tee time via the New Howdidido app to avoid disappointment.

Car parking as we have limited space (especially on competition days) can we please ensure you park considerately and not leave huge gaps between yourself and the next car.

This club news has also been emailed to you individually.

Kind Regards
