We are delighted to welcome you to this year’s Captain’s Drive-In Weekend at Wheatley Golf Club and invite you all to join us in celebrating the start of the 2026 season.

Saturday 28th March – Men’s Captain’s Drive-In
Our incoming Captain, Darren Murrell, will officially tee off at 07:30am from the 1st tee. Members are invited to attend and celebrate the occasion, with a complimentary drink available on the tee.

The competition will follow with:
• 07:45am Shotgun Start
• 1:00pm Shotgun Start

Catering
The clubhouse will be open from 07:00am, with a special offer of Coffee & Bacon Roll for £5, available to eat in or take away.

Evening – Meet The Captain Function
We will be hosting a Meet The Captain Function from 7:00pm – 7:30pm.

Sunday 29th March – Ladies & Junior Captain’s Drive-Ins
• Lady Captain, Carol Neal, will tee off at 10:00am, followed by the Ladies’ competition
• Junior Captain, Jessica Shepherd, will tee off at 1:45pm, followed by a 9-hole competition

We encourage all members to come along and support across the weekend as we celebrate the start of a new golfing season.
