Dear Member,
I’m delighted to share some fantastic news with you following Friday night’s Scottish Golf Awards.
Dullatur Golf Club was proud to be named winners of the Golf & Environment Award, a fantastic achievement and recognition of the work being done across the club to enhance and protect our courses and surroundings.
We are also absolutely delighted that our own member, Elise McQueen, was recognised as a Scottish Golf Young Leader, winning the Rising Star Award on the night. This is a brilliant individual achievement and one that the entire club can take great pride in.
To be recognised at a national level is no small feat. To be shortlisted alongside clubs such as Balfron and St Andrews was already something to be proud of, but to go on and win on the night is a real credit to everyone involved.
These achievements do not belong to any one person. They reflect the collective effort across Dullatur — from staff and volunteers, to those working behind the scenes, and to you, the membership, whose continued support drives the club forward.
There is still more to do, and the hard work is by no means over. But it is important to take a moment to recognise progress when it happens, and Friday night was one of those moments.
On behalf of me and DGC Council, thank you for your continued support and belief in what we are building.
Once again, congratulations to Elise on a fantastic and well-deserved award.
This was a brilliant night for Dullatur, and one I hope every member can take real pride in.
Kind regards,
Frankie Bannachan
