On Sunday 29th March the first Jersey Golf Junior Competition of 2026 was played at La Moye with a cold and blustery wind making conditions extremely difficult.
There were three divisions with those under 16 handicap in Division 1; those from 16 to 24 in Division 2; and those above 24 in Division 3.
27 juniors from Royal Jersey played with many recording excellent scores.
Oliver Jost with 40 points was the winner of Division 3 with Bertie Whitchurch coming third with 38 points.
Callum McConnell won Division 2 with 34 points on countback from Bertie Shelton and Oliver MacDonald.
The outstanding round of the day was played by Oliver Bourke who scored 40 points from his 10 handicap. Oliver had the lowest gross score on the day and was the worthy winner of the Brian Troy Trophy.
