The large GUR are on the 8th is now a no-play zone – which means that:
You MUST NOT play your ball from within the roped area. You may enter the area (NO Buggies or Trolleys) to search for and retrieve your ball. If your ball is in this ‘No Play Zone’, including when it is ‘known or virtually certain’ to be in it even if you can’t find it, you MUST take free relief by dropping your original ball or another ball, down the right side of the roped off area. There are several dropping zones. You MUST choose the one nearest to the spot of the ball or the estimated spot in the case of a ball not found.
We are enabling the local rule on Pick, Clean & Place again – Preferred Lies (MLR E-3 amended):
When your ball lies in the part of the general area cut to fairway height or less it may be lifted, cleaned and replaced without penalty. You must mark the spot. The ball must be replaced within 6”(15cm) of and not nearer the hole. Such spot must be in the general area. The ball may only be replaced once.
White Tee comps such as Roll-ups and Knockouts are to be played from the lower White tee. The tee on the hill will generally only be used for Majors and select other competitions as determined by the Course Manager.
Please ensure you are signing in in the pro shop and on electronic devices. Cards should be clearly marked with 2 signatures and gross scores completed. We are no longer using mats. Anyone found to be using a mat in a qualifying competition will be disqualified.
Play well! Have fun! Stay Safe!
See you out there!
