It is known for advanced services like paediatric intensive care, neurosurgery, craniofacial surgery and gastro enterology surgery making it a regional centre for complex child healthcare.
It has a particularly important place for Penny Jackson, Women’s Captain.
“The charity means a great deal to me personally. My grandson was born with a rare disease .Oxford Children’s Hospital became his home for the first 5 months of his life.
Throughout his time there, undergoing 2 lifesaving operations, the staff showed exceptional care, compassion and dedication. They didn't just look after him medically they supported our whole family during an extremely challenging time.
Through this fundraising we aim to give something back and help ensure families continue to receive the same exceptional care.
Every donation will make a difference and is deeply appreciated.”
A Just Giving page for the Children’s hospital has been set up and the link is

Look out for a poster with a QR code that will soon be on the noticeboards in the clubhouse.
Please support the charity throughout the summer by attending various events including the main Captains Day on June 28th.
The Charity Bottle will always be available behind the bar for any extra contributions, including the honesty cost of visiting the Charity Bunker!
Thank you,
Penny Jackson (Women’s Captain)
