Invitation Day is Back!

Dear Members,
We are delighted to announce the return of the Golf Club’s Invitation Day, scheduled to take place on Saturday 2nd May 2026.
Booking Details
Bookings will go live on the HowDidIDo members app at 7:00pm on Sunday 12th April.
Format & Entry
• Teams: 1 Member + 1 Guest
• When booking your tee time, simply click the ‘+’ button to add your guest
• You will be prompted to enter your guest’s name, email, and CDH number, so please have these ready
Tee times will be available from 07:00 – 16:00, allowing for up to 110 teams.
The competition format will be Pairs Betterball Stableford (1 score to count on each hole).
There will also be additional prizes including:
• 2’s Club
• Nearest the Pin competitions
• Overall Tee Time Prize (combined scores of both pairs in the group)
Entry Fee
£20 per pair – this includes entry into the competition and prize vouchers.
Eligibility
The event is open to all members – Ladies, Gents, and Juniors.
Teams may choose which tee markers to play from to suit all abilities.
Maximum Handicap Index:
• Gents: 28
• Ladies: 38
Players with a higher index are welcome to enter but will play off the competition maximum.
All CDH numbers will be verified prior to prize allocation.
Catering
Our catering team will be available throughout the day with:
• £5 Coffee & Bacon Sandwich (eat in or takeaway)
• Halfway House open during play
• Specials menu available after your round
We would greatly appreciate your support for this event. Our aim is to re-establish Invitation Day as a standout fixture in the club calendar—giving members the opportunity to invite a guest and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic day.
