Respecting the course
For those who’ve been members long enough to appreciate the consistent effort our greenkeepers put in week after week, you’ll know this is no small job. As members, we all have a role to play in keeping the course in excellent condition, allowing the greenkeeping team to focus on ongoing improvements - such as the work currently taking place on the 6th hole and the walkway at the 18th.

It’s in everyone’s interest to take care of the course wherever possible. If you come across an unraked bunker and have time to smooth it without holding up play, please do so. On the greens, make it a habit to repair your own pitch mark plus one extra to help maintain their quality.

When it comes to pitch marks and divots, please replace your divots where you can, and on tee boxes, use the divot boxes provided to aid recovery. Finally, please avoid pushing trolleys over tee boxes or greens.

These small habits make a huge difference to the overall condition of the course, and help ensure it remains enjoyable for everyone. We appreciate your support and hope this approach is met with understanding.
