MRC OOM Rnd 1
Lads, our first 148 tee comp of the year saw tough conditions but with a strong field of 67 players. This is the first of our medal competitions that apply to the Order Of Merit Champion golfer of the year award. Taking the win and the only player to beat his handicap, shooting nett 69, is Dan Thurston. Well played mate, especially in those conditions.
Taking Div 1 with nett 73 is Jonno Mullarkey, well in mucker, hopefully this isn’t repeated in our KO match!! Ha ha.
Lowest gross went to Dan Tattam, now off 0.3, very good mate, pops would be very proud.

In our only summer match play v the course format, strongly supported with 78 players. Great to see all these new members playing in the comps. I have spoken to some of you over text and hopefully will get to see you at the club at some point soon.
Shooting an extremely good score, beating the course by 7 and taking the win, Mr Gary Tilstone. Go on Gaz lad, well played. If only the Vale could perform this well hey mate.

I know some pairs have given leeway to newer members needing to get their 3 qualifiers in, appreciate that lads. Please remember the winner of the match to enter the result in the knockout section of the app after the match has been played.
Hallam Salver this coming weekend, a Texas scramble with a twist, please be aware as this is a board comp, all players in the team must fit the qualifying criteria to win a prize.
