BCGC Mens Results - Saturday 11th April
The Brickhampton A Team began their North Gloucestershire Foursomes League campaign with a challenging away fixture against Lilleybrook Golf Club.
Despite a determined effort from the Brickhampton, Lilleybrook made the most of their home advantage and familiarity with the firm greens. The gusting wind added an extra layer of difficulty, especially on exposed holes, and proved tricky to manage.
Brickhampton showed resilience and fought hard in every pairing, but ultimately fell to a 4–1 defeat. The standout performance came from Gav and Nick, who delivered an excellent win, demonstrating composure in the tough conditions.
The B Team were at home to Lillybrook and fared much better with a solid 4-2 win to kick off their 4BBB League chellenge for 2026 ..
Seasoned campaigners Paul and Chris were the pick of the winning matches getting it done by hole 13 for a 7-5 win (How rude!)
While both results didn’t go Brickhampton’s way, there were plenty of positives to take forward. The teams now look ahead to their next fixture against Lydney , where they will aim to bring home the double win.
