This is a brief thank you for the support I received on the occasion of my drive-in.
It was a truly memorable day for a variety of reasons both golfing and non-golfing. I have heard talk of a blue plaque next to the bush by the 3rd green. Can't think why.
The atmosphere in the Clubhouse was truly excellent, a proper warm welcome extended to all. Many thanks to Shaun, Louise and all staff for their hard work on the day.
The best news is that the sum raised for my charity, James Place, is £1050.00. I know that this sum was gratefully received and will be put to good use.
