Club Competitions 2026
Competition Requirements & Prizes
**Reminder**

The Spring Trophy is the Men's first Major of the season and will be held on 3rd May, 2026.

This will be the first of our drawn competitions. **Entry is now open via V1 or the new HDID app.** Please note that booking will close at midnight on 27th April, 2026 and the draw will be notified by email.

**Competition Prizes & Competition Requirements – 2026 Season**

**Competition Requirements:**

All members **MUST** sign-in to the competition before playing. Any entrant found to have signed-in after having played will be disqualified. Signing in is the responsibility of the competitor. Please ensure that, on arrival, you have enough credit in your account to cover your competition fee and please do not ask a member of staff to sign you in.

It is a Competition Requirement that you **MUST** enter your score into the touch screen computer on completion of your competition round. Some members choose to post their scorecards into the box without first entering their scores. This practice is inconsiderate and creates extra work for an already hard-working committee.

As England Golf rules state that all physically returned cards must be accepted by the committee, we cannot disqualify those who do not enter their scores into the computer. What we can do is to impose a one-week competition ban on those too lazy to input their scores.

If you are unable to enter your score on the touch screen, please write the reason on the top of your score-card before posting it into the box. The one-week competition ban will obviously not be enforced if the touch-screen computer is not working for any reason or there is a genuine reason why the score cannot be entered.

If you book a Sunday Competition Tee you **MUST** use it. If you book a tee and don't turn up or cancel it in good time it prevents another member from booking and playing at that time. In pairs competitions, members have been left standing on the tee without a partner which is selfish and unacceptable. Council have decided that should a member not cancel their competition tee by 12 noon the day before the competition they will not be allowed to enter any Club competition for seven days should they not turn up. If it is a pairs competition and a member is left stranded on the tee without a partner the competition ban will be increased to 2 weeks. We understand that 'Life Happens'. If you do need to cancel at the last minute or after 1200 the day before, please email **BOTH** info@leeparkgolfclub.co.uk **and** handicapandcomp@leeparkgolfclub.co.uk

To qualify for entry into the 2027 knockouts you **MUST** have played in at least five Lee Park Competitions in 2026 which are acceptable for handicap. You must also have your contact details visible on V1 and the new HDID app.

To maintain the integrity of our competitions, members with new handicaps cannot win a Club Major in their first year. New members to Lee Park may, at the committees discretion, win a Club Major provided they have an acceptable playing record on England Golf, for 2025. Ineligible members may win the monetary prize but may not win their name on the board or the trophy.

**Please see below the competition prizes which have been set for 2026 by the Handicap & Competition Committees.**

Please note that any member may only win one prize per competition (aside from nearest the pin & 2’s). In the event of a member qualifying for 2 prizes, the highest value prize will be paid. The lower value prize will be awarded to the next best score. Prizes will automatically be credited to the winner’s gold card. Vouchers are available on request.

Please note that the value of prizes is dependent on the number of entrants to the competition in question. Committee reserves the right to lower the value or number of prizes should entry be low for any reason.

In Stableford competitions the divisions are as follows:

**Division 1: 0 – 10 Division 2: 11-18 Division 3: 19-28**

Whilst we will endeavour to keep the divisions rigid, if entry to a competition is very low and the divisions are hugely unbalanced, divisions will be equalised between those who entered.
