The golf course will return to acceptable status for handicap purposes, including general play scores, from Saturday 18 April. Placing through the green will no longer apply.
Placing on areas mown to fairway height or less will continue until further notice.
We would remind all members of the player’s responsibilities under the WHS Rules for Handicapping for general play scores, which can also be viewed on noticeboards and in V1 in documents, WHS handicaps.
In particular;
1. All scores MUST be pre-registered on the MyEG app BEFORE YOU TEE OFF, not after you start your round.
2. Scores MUST be submitted via the MyEG app BEFORE MIDNIGHT on the day of play.
3. Your attester MUST attest your score by midnight on the day of play. It is the
player’s responsibility to ensure the attester completes this action.
4. Scores not submitted and/or attested by midnight on the day of play may be removed and/or a penalty score applied to the players playing record.
5. Penalty scores will be applied to the attester where they fail to attest a score
by midnight on the day of play.
6. A paper scorecard MUST also be submitted in the scorecard box in the locker
rooms the same day for rounds played at Hagley and within 7 days for away
cards.
7. Once score intent has been registered and scorecard downloaded a score MUST be submitted.
8. Cancelling a scorecard without a valid reason, deemed acceptable under WHS guidelines, will lead to a penalty score being applied to your playing
record.
9. Repeated breaches of the club’s rules for submitting general play cards may lead to additional sanctions, including the suspension of a player’s handicap.
