St Pierre Park Edge RGGC in Hampshire 7’s Thriller
A tight match at L’Ancresse saw St Pierre Park come through 4-3 against RGGC to reach the Guernsey final.
St Pierre Park secured a hard-fought 4-3 win over Royal Guernsey in the Hampshire 7’s, with the match going right down to the final pairing at L’Ancresse. With the teams level at 3-3, captain Martin Ireland held his nerve in the anchor match to claim the decisive point and send the side through.

There were key contributions across the team, including wins for George Bowie, Steve Batiste and Jason Le Cheminant, with several matches closely contested and one even going beyond 18 holes. Despite RGGC taking the top two matches, St Pierre Park showed resilience across the middle order to edge the tie.

The result sees St Pierre Park progress to the Guernsey final, where they will face L’Ancresse.
