As many of you may know Gary & Rob Marsden are hoping to complete a 5 course golf challenge in a day on the 1st June 2026. They completed this challenge (with an extra round - completing 6 rounds of golf in the day!) back in 2016 raising over £19,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support. To mark the 10 years anniversary of this they would like to complete it again.



This year they are hoping to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice. St Catherine’s cared for Gary’s father in law - Richard in his last few days of his life, before we sadly lost him back in January. We are forever grateful for how comfortable they made Richard & how welcoming they were to my family in such a hard time for us all.

We have created the below just giving page for any donation, big or small.



We are also going to be putting a raffle squares board in the club house for £2 per square for some amazing raffle prizes we have been so kindly gifted.



We hope we have the full support of Kirkbymoorside Golf Club members in this challenge we are taking part in on the 1st June. We plan to arrive at Kirkbymoorside to tee off around 6:30pm and would appreciate any support to get us round our last course & a celebratory drink on the 19th hole.
