Kirk Rosebowl Medal
Wednesday 29th April
The third round of the Kirk Rosebowl Medal qualifiers took place in much better weather. A fantastic playing field of 137 in which William Kay took leading qualifying spot.

In the Division One competition Nick Henderson took the honours with a gross 71 which gave a net 69, three shots clear of Greg Dymock who took second spot. Greg pipping three others on a card count back.
Nick had to nines of level par with birdies at 4, 9 & 13, topped by an eagle at the 11th.
Greg was out in 39 and came home in level 35, a card with birdies at 11 & 17.
Nick won £15.60 for first place in the sweep and Greg picked up £8.40.

In Division 2, William Kay took top spot and leading qualifier with a gross 80 for net 66. A shot further back and in second after a card play off was William Heeps.
William was out in 41 before returning in 39 with birdies at 1 & 17 on the card.
William H was out in 40 and returned in 36 helped with a birdie at the closing hole.
William K won £39.65 for first place in the sweep and William H picked up the second place sweep money of £21.35.

In Division 3, Andrew Johnston took top spot with a net score of 68 beating second placed Alexander Thomson by two shots.
Andrew went out in 46 and returned in 41 with 6 net birdies on the card.
Alexander went out in 48 and returning in 50 for gross 98 net 70. Card helped along with 5 net birdies.
Andrew won £29.25 for first place in the sweep and Alexander picked up £15.75.



There were four players to record a birdie on the 15th hole and take home £26.00 in the 2’s sweep.

In addition to Nick’s fine eagle at the 11th he was joined on the eagle trail by Colin Donnelly at the 9th and Gordon Munro at the 4th.
