Wow! What a day. After travelling just over an hour to Cleckheaton, we did the cards only to find between the 5 of us we had to give 34 shots on a course we had never played before. But what a beautiful course it was. Great hospitality too. A fantastic victory for Bedale 3.5 to 1.5. Well played ladies. A great day! Well done to the team of Julie Noble, Evelyn Weighell, Pam Rawlin (c), Jo Worrall and Claire Retchless.

May 9 – Mix n Match Event
The winners were Mike Barker, Rachel Miller, Dave Fell and Junior Vice Captain Archie Maclelland with 100 pts. Pictured with Captain Sheila Grant who organised the event. 40 players of 4, teams of ladies, seniors, juniors and gents. A super way for all sections of the club to come together. Fantastic support. Thank you to all who turned up and played in the cold and damp conditions. Thanks also to all who helped and supported to raise money for Herriot Hospice.

Division 1 : 1 Alexander Kettlewell 78 - 7 = 71 ; 2nd Ross Hodgson 78 - 6 = 72 ; 3rd Jamie Wilkinson 77 - 4 = 73.
Division 2: 1st Steven Gibbins 88 - 18 = 70 ; 2nd Ged Hall 88 - 15 = 73 ; 3rd Terry Pratt 92 - 19 = 73.
Division 3: 1st Nick Baker 92 - 21 = 71 ; 2nd Mike Edwards 96 - 21 = 75 ; 3rd Duncan McEwan 100 - 24 = 76.
Congratulations to Mr Captain Steve Gibbins who wins the Gent’s President’s Putter for the best nett score on the day.

The Weekend Team had a great 3-0 win against Harrogate. Again, giving 36 shots! A big up to Val who had 19 of those shots and looked exhausted on her return to the clubhouse. Karolina and Laura shared the other shots. Harrogate ladies were very kind about the course and Steve’s catering went down a treat. Well played everyone. Val Abbey, Karolina Aurelius and Laura Scott
