With 93 players taking part it is Alex Crossley that leads after round 1 with a brilliant net 63. He is 5 shots ahead of Kevin Brunton and Steven Criag so all to play for.

Alex out in 43 before returning in 39 which included 8 net birdies and gross birdie at 18 to finish with a 63 (82-19). Five shots back after going out in 42 and a return in 39 was Steven Criag who managed 5 net birdies in his round. (81-13)
Steven edged out Kevin Brunton who took third spot with a gross 75 got net 68 with birdies at 12, 13 & 17. A triple bogey at the 16th doing the damage.
Alex wins £39.50 for first place; Steven takes away £23.70 with Kevin picking up £15.80.
