Ladies County Championships
16th - 17th May 2026
A fantastic weekend for Links Newmarket Ladies at the County Championships!
Jackie Ewing reached the matchplay final after defeating fellow Links member Sarah Greenall in the semi-finals, eventually finishing runner-up to Belinda Borneo of Brampton Park in a closely fought final. Belinda sealed victory with a superb birdie on the 16th to win 3&2.
There was more success for Links players throughout the weekend:
Tabitha Brain – Best Gross Score in qualifying with a level-par 71
Jackie Ewing – County Championship Runner-Up
Marcella Tuttle – Winner of the Scratch Bowl
With great weather and excellent golf all weekend, it was another successful County Championships for Links Ladies!
