This year’s Captain’s Charity fundraiser is especially close to home. Bowel cancer has affected a significant number of our members, their families, and our wider club community, and we’re proud to stand together in support of Bowel Research UK.

We’re launching our Bunker Challenge to help raise vital funds:
£1 if you find a bunker during your round
(Capped at £1 per round — even if you visit half the bunkers on the course)
Or, if you’d rather keep it simple, a one-off £10 donation

Collection jars will be available in the Pro Shop and the Main Lounge Bar.

And for a bit of added craic…
Why not agree within your fourball that whoever hits the most bunkers pays everyone else’s fines for the round or whoever is the last to visit a bunker pays everyone else's. A little extra heat on those sand-magnet friends of yours.

Every pound raised goes directly towards supporting life-saving research and helping those affected by bowel cancer — including many right here at Bangor Golf Club.
