Daniel Heron Wins the 52nd Caldy Quart

Caldy Golf Club was delighted to host the 52nd edition of the Caldy Quart Championship on Thursday, welcoming another outstanding field for one of the region’s premier amateur events.
Congratulations to Daniel Heron of Royal Liverpool Golf Club, who claimed the 2026 title with excellent rounds of 69 & 70 for a winning total of 139 (-5), finishing two shots clear of Paul McFerran from Sandiway Golf Club.
The championship received tremendous feedback from competitors, with players praising both the presentation of the course and the test of golf. The event was also a fantastic reflection of the warm welcome and hospitality that Caldy Golf Club is renowned for.
