Why the change? We've recently had issues with counterfeit notes being passed at the club, so it's the right time to modernise how we handle payments. The good news is it will make things quicker and easier for everyone.
From 1st June the Bar and Reception will only accept card payments.
In exceptional circumstances, and at the Club's discretion, cash payments can still be made through the office during weekday office hours - just speak to Lynda Ellingham (Club Administrator) or Nicola Harding (Club Manager). This will cover things like paying your membership renewal in cash, or donations for charity or fundraising.
We're not alone in making this move — Cambridge Country Club, Gog Magog, Royston, and Brampton Park have all gone cashless too.
