Further to the notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) of Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club on Wednesday 10th June for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving the following Ordinary Resolution.

The Chairman has decided that the resolution will be determined by way of a poll. Voting slips will therefore be available from Tuesday morning from the General Manager’s Office.

Alternately, Members unable to attend the meeting in person may request a proxy form from the office and appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. Members attending the meeting may vote in person.

Proposed Ordinary Resolution

“That the members of Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club approve the Council of Management proceeding with the acquisition and installation of a replacement irrigation system for the golf course at a projected total cost not exceeding £840,000, together with the associated funding arrangements proposed by the Council of Management, including a member funding initiative and, if required, external borrowing.”

This resolution is proposed as an Ordinary Resolution in accordance with the Articles of the Club and will require the support of not less than 50% of the members present and entitled to vote at the meeting in order to be carried.
