Dear Member, for those players who were caught up in the rain storm, thunder and lightning, I am sure you will agree that the abandonment of the competition due to course conditions after an half hour suspension was the correct decision even though the sun is now out.
With regards to what happens next, I can confirm as follows:
If you have completed 18 holes and submitted your scores on the PSI screen your score will go forward to the England Golf WHS system for handicap adjustment but will not count for the competition and no players will go forward as qualifiers for the final.
The competition committee will try and re arrange a new date, but if a date cannot be found then one of the other qualifiers will be a double qualifier.
With regards to the entry fee, you should have received a £2.50 refund on your bar card as we have carried out a mass refund to all. If you have not received this refund by Thursday please contact us on bgccomps@btconnect.com
