Championship Weekend, No Catering 12th June, Carvery, Ian Pettie Memorial Competition
Championship Weekend
A few notes for the competitors ahead of Championship Weekend this weekend:
The entry fee for both the men's and ladies competition is £6 per person, this covers both days. There is also an optional two's at £4 per person, again this covers both days.
Please sign-in on the PSi machine in the Pro Shop before golf tomorrow. You will need to sign-in again on arrival on Sunday, but there will be nothing to pay.
Printed scorecards will also be ready for you to collect from the Pro Shop each day.
After your round, completed cards should be handed in to Steen in the clubhouse, who will enter them onto the system and scoreboard.
A reminder that the men with the lowest 12 gross scores will have their tee times for Sunday amended so they are playing in the last 4 tee times. These will be between 1 pm - 1.30 pm, in reverse score order.
The ladies tee times for Sunday will be in reverse score order and these will be between 12 pm and 12.40 pm.
We will email out updated tee sheets on Saturday evening so everyone is aware of their Sunday tee times. Please note, we may need to move tee times around slightly to ensure we don't have too many 2 balls throughout the field.
The prize giving for both the ladies and men's competitions will take place at roughly 5.30 pm on Sunday evening. It would be great to see lots of members there to support the winners.
Conditions look like they are going to be very testing tomorrow, we wish the best of luck to everyone taking part.
No Catering - Friday 12th June
On Friday 12th June, we are hosting the Over 50's Team Event. This is an open competition and this year we have 164 visitors taking part. Our Chefs will be extremely busy catering for this competition so please note that we will not be able to provide any catering outside of the competition on this day. Thank you for your understanding.
Carvery - Sunday 14th June
Our next Sunday carvery is taking place on Sunday 14th June. Please contact the bar staff, or reply to this email if you would like to book a table.
Ian Pettie Memorial Team Competition - Saturday 20th June
The poster for the Ian Pettie memorial team competition on Saturday 20th June is attached with today's latest news email. Please note that it is teams of 4 and teams can be any combination.
To book your space for this, please email teetimes@bognorgolfclub.co.uk giving a 1-hour slot that you would like to play in.
