Please see the link below from Scottish Golf outlining the basic requirements to be adhered to if you intent to submit a scorecard for handicap under a General Play round.

It is imperative that once a player is committed to a general play entry that a score is submitted even if that contains a number of NR or DNP entries.
Failure to submit a score intent can result in a penalty score being added.
