Update on our D & C Team
This season we are unbeaten with wins against Marple & Chapel at home and a superb away win against Romiley on Tuesday this week. A hard fought draw at home to New Mills leaves HGGC top of our group, although New Mills have a game in hand. We have a large squad with a good cross section of experienced players and new members. Our team managers - James Pedder and Iain Cole organise and plan all the matches to ensure we have strong well balanced teams to represent our club. We are now well placed to qualify for the knockout stage later in the summer.
Although games are very competitive, they are played in the correct spirit , with high levels of etiquette and respect.
We have received excellent feedback from all our opponents, about the course presentation this season, this always a bonus to hear.
