Ghyll Golf Club hosted their annual Ladies Open yesterday and the day was a huge success. The winning team from Breightmet, Stand and Greenmount golf clubs had 89 points, second place with 86 points were Lorraine Whipp and Sue Hirons from Ghyll with two ladies from Skipton, and 3rd with 83 points was Steph Robinson with three team mates from Clitheroe.
12 teams competed and everyone was very complimentary about the course, the warm welcome and excellent food by The Ravine At Ghyll. Halfway house raised £65 towards Lady Captain's charity, Colne Open Door Centre. A great day for Ghyll Golf Club.
