President's Prize to the Ladies
President's Prize to the Ladies
On Friday, the President hosted his prize competition to the ladies. The President admitted to being nervous and fearful but that was just for the dinner and dancing in the evening! The golf was remarkable in that the result of the Board prize was a 7-way tie on 37 points that was resolved over a 4-hole play-off on holes 1, 2, 8 & 9. Lady Captain Louise Rowley came out on top over the play off holes with Vicki Aikenhead runner up and Lorraine Lyall in 3rd place. The 9-hole competition was won by Maria O’Shea with 20 points. The evening meal, presentation and entertainment rolled into the early hours. The President danced and karaoked his way through the evening and he was regretting a morning tee time for Mr Captian's First Round. The adrenalin from the evening must have helped as he leads the Captain's Prize going into next week. The ladies want to thank the President for his generosity, his good humour and his microphone skills. Congratulations to Lady Captain and Maria O'Shea our golfing winners on the day.
