HHDUGC Foursomes Qualifiers
What a Brutal Day
The HHDUGC foursomes qualifiers for Scratch, handicap, and Juniors were played yesterday at Halifax Golf Club. Summer they said? the weather was brutal, the wind was blowing making the golf course very tough, with easily a 4 or 5 club wind!
Dean Brady and Simon Rome qualified for the match play knockouts, Aaron Rothwell and John Burn narrowly missed out in a card playoff.
We also entered 4 Juniors, which is the first time in many years we have had Juniors representing Ryburn in Union comps. Harry Harwood and Rorry Blair won the Juniors, and Oscar Daniel and Noah Cranston came 3rd. Absolutley outstanding in them conditions. Well done to the scratch and Juniors and best of luck in the knockout stages.
