Ryburn Teams battle hard against the Brutal weather
Yesterday saw the scratch, handicap and Junior foursomes championships at Halifax golf club. Someone said it was summer, however the weather had not been given the memo, it was brutal with the wind blowing at least a 4 or 5 club wind!
Dean Brady and Simon Rome qualified for the match play knockout stages. Aaron Rothwell and John Burn narrowly missed out in a card playoff.
Harry Harwood and Rory Blair won the Junior section, and Oscar Daniel and Noah Cranston came 3rd. It is many years since Ryburn had Junior representation at union events, so this is absolutley brilliant, well done boys!
