They led 3-2 from the first leg and home wins for Davitt Walsh, Cathal Canning and Paddy McGowan put them through, with close defeats for Jack Langan and Alan O'Doherty in a competitive contest. They now move on to face Ballybofey & Stranorlar in the semi-final. Victory too for Joe Hensey and his Donegal Seniors against Dunfanaghy this weekend in their quarter-final second leg. They held a first leg lead of 3.5 to 1.5 and there were wins for Finbarr McNamee and Paul Armstrong along with Joe Hensey and Dermot Boyce that meant the remaining games were called in on Saturday afternoon. Upcoming fixtures include the Donegal Minor League team taking on Ballybofey & Stranorlar on Saturday 18th July at 2pm in Portsalon, while the Donegal League team go up against Nairn & Portnoo on Sunday 19th July at 1.30pm in Portsalon.
