Prestbury Golf Club enjoyed a superb day of championship golf on Saturday 11th July, as members came together to compete for the club's most prestigious titles in glorious summer sunshine. Bathed in warm weather throughout the day, the course was presented in excellent condition, providing a fitting stage for a highly competitive Club Championship. The Men's Club Championship was contested over 36 holes, testing both skill and endurance, while the Ladies, Junior and Nett Championships were played over 18 holes. Congratulations to all of this year's champions: Ladies Club Champion: Rachel Aistrop – Gross 88 Ladies Nett Champion: Debbie Ward – Nett 77 Gentlemen's Club Champion: Dan Johnson – Outstanding rounds of 74 and 72 to claim the title over 36 holes Gentlemen's Nett Club Champion: Peter Mountford – Total 145 Junior Club Champion: Jack Baglin – Gross 76 Following an excellent day's golf, members and guests gathered on the clubhouse terrace for a fantastic evening of celebrations. Freshly made pizzas, live music and the warm summer weather created a wonderful atmosphere, with an outstanding turnout for the prize presentation as members came together to celebrate the achievements of this year's champions. The Club Championship is one of the highlights of the Prestbury Golf Club calendar, showcasing the talent, competitive spirit and camaraderie that make the club so special. The support shown throughout the day and into the evening reflected the strong community spirit within the membership and made for a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
