Purley Trophy Results We had a full field of 63 entrants for the Purley Trophy, our 36-hole scratch open on Saturday. This is a fantastic turnout considering we initially limited the field to 57 players. Scott Nightingale, from Worthing Golf Club, won the event for the 4th time, with his first win coming back in 2000. Harry Malin, from Bognor Regis, came second and Oli Turnill, also from Bognor Regis, came third. The full results are attached with today's latest news email. A big thank you to everyone that helped with ball spotting throughout the day, and to Mike Wood for doing the starting. World Cup Semi-Final - This Wednesday England's World Cup semi-final against Argentina this Wednesday @ 8 pm will be shown live on the big screen in the clubhouse. Members are welcome to bring family and friends down to enjoy the game at the club. Please note, the kitchen will not be open for food.
