The south coast's fiercest rivalry hit the fairways at Corhampton, and let's just say, the trash talk was as fierce as the wind. Gale-force winds, Baking heat, and 72 golfers rocking their team colours like their lives depended on it. Banter was flowing with big shots, bigger egos, and the biggest laughs. Just how a derby should be played, but without any red cards. Sadly for all you Saints' fans, the scoreboard doesn't lie: Pompey 1072 pts – Saints 1041 pts Some would say that bragging rights were firmly back where they belong. Now, onto the serious bit, this match has proper history; First played years back, it was originally the brainchild of Wayne Talkes, who sadly passed away in 2021. Bringing it back was our way of playing this one in Wayne's honour, and it meant the world to have his family there with us to mark the day. True to the family's wishes, the money raised is being split between the Mountbatten Hospice and the Captain's Charity.
