Rake Bunkers, Please
This is a brief but important request:
Please rake bunkers properly once you've finished playing from them.
Rake the sand as smoothly as possible, leaving no discernible trace of footmarks or strokes played.
Exit bunkers by the same route you entered, where possible. Smooth footmarks as you go.
Leave the rake in the bunker.
Knock sand off your shoes before stepping onto the green.
As with repairing pitch marks on greens, if you see extra marks you haven't made, please smooth them over if it doesn't take too much time.
The attached image, taken recently, shows a bunker (17th) which has not been raked by players.
