The weather and the course certainly played their part in this year’s Ladies Championships, held over two days. With temperatures reaching 30°C and the course playing firm and fast in the very dry conditions, it proved to be a true test of golf. Congratulations to Gillian Fahy, our 2026 Ladies Scratch Champion, and to Joy Jenkins, who claimed the Handicap Trophy. Well done also to Ann Garner, winner of the Diamond Jubilee Trophy, which is traditionally played alongside the Championships. It was wonderful to see so many ladies taking part in what was a fantastic celebration of Osborne Ladies’ Golf. The event was rounded off perfectly with a delicious cream tea, beautifully prepared by our catering team, Jodie and Zoe. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the Championships such a successful and enjoyable occasion.
