PLACING REVERTS TO SIX INCHES Lincs Golf Union have been in touch to ask us to revert to taking preferred lies of up to six inches rather than one club length to satisfy the requirements of the World Handicap System. We will now revert to six inches relief with immediate effect. More areas will be marked Ground Under Repair so players won’t have to play from the worst of the bare/sandy lies. CAPTAIN’S DAY YELLOW BALL There will be a Yellow Ball team game running alongside the usual Single Stableford on Saturday. You can decide on the tee which player will be player, A, B or C. Player A will have the Yellow Ball on holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13 & 16. Player B will have the Yellow Ball on holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14 & 17. Player C will have the Yellow Ball on holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18. While the Yellow Ball is still active double points will be scored, if lost, a white ball will score single points. The Yellow ball will count to your Single Stableford score and is not in addition. All will be explained by our Captain Andy Corssen on the tee. CAPTAIN’S AWAY DAY Can those who haven’t already paid the full balance for the trip of £55, please do so by Saturday July 18.
