Players on the 8th tee have playing priority over players on the 13th green, for safety reasons. Etiquette If you're on the 8th tee, be sure that anyone on the 13th green has seen you and had a chance to move aside before you tee off. When playing the 13th, as you approach the green check for players on the 8th tee. If they are ready to play (eg. the 8th green is clear): - mark your ball if it's on the green and it's safe to do so; - stand back until that group has played, before continuing with your game. Missed the green? If your ball is left of the green, eg. by the tree or path, check it's safe to approach your ball in case players are teeing off from the 8th. Likewise, if your ball has gone over the back of the 13th green, please wait until it's safe to play. NB: If you arrive on the 8th tee and the players on the 13th green have nearly completed all their putts, or you feel they haven't seen you, do show some patience and wait a few seconds. It’s a busy part of the course with several tees and greens close by, so try to avoid disturbing other games.
