SUMMER COURSE TEMPORARY RULE
New Temporary Rule, No Smoking on the Golf Course during the Heatwave.
As we enjoy the warmer summer months, we’re introducing a new temporary rule effective immediately that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the golf course. With the recent dry weather, the course is more vulnerable to fire, and even a discarded cigarette or lit ash can create a serious risk to the course, surrounding wildlife, and the safety of everyone enjoying the facilities. If you wish to smoke, please wait until you have returned to the clubhouse and use the designated smoking areas on the outdoor patio areas. We kindly ask that all cigarette ends and smoking materials are disposed of responsibly. This change is simply to help us protect the course and keep it a safe, enjoyable environment for all members, visitors, and wildlife throughout the summer months. We understand that this temporary measure may be an inconvenience for some, but we are sure members will appreciate the importance of protecting the course, surrounding wildlife, and club facilities during these dry summer conditions. We thank everyone for their cooperation and support and will keep the policy under review as weather conditions change. Thank you for helping us keep the course safe and enjoyable for all.
