West Wales Past Captains held their Summer event at Haverfordwest Golf Club on Friday 17th July 2026. Due to the high temperatures 16 holes were played. The results were: Nearest the pin in two on the 16th Hole - Michael Bevan (Club President). Second Team prize 72 points - Gerald Vaughan (Carmarthen GC), Martyn Morris (Neath GC) & John Rees (Hwest GC). First Team prize 74 points - Robert Arbourne (Neath GC), Alex Pile (Hwest GC) & Alex Jones (Hwest GC). Best overall with 32 points - Michael Thomas (Hwest GC). The course presented was in excellent condition and the food and bar service was of a high standard. West Wales Past Captains would like to thank all for the facilities provided and it was a pleasure to show that Haverfordwest Golf Club is a superb facility to be enjoyed by all.
