Hole in One - Alf Taylor

Club legend Alf Taylor recorded his 2nd Hole in One of his golfing journey to date in our Ron Armitage Memorial Trophy Major on Saturday 11th July. Alf hit a perfect 5 wood on our 17th hole, his playing partners David Grassham and Ian Payne saying ‘that’s in the hole’ as the ball hit the green. This helped Alf to record 5 points on the hole & 41 points in total, just 1 point behind the winner Mick Scott, playing off 20 at the tender age of 82. Alf, a Past Captain, recorded his 1st Ace some 30 years ago on our old course and has been a member for 44 years. Congratulations to an all round good guy!
