Hollingbury beat Brighton and Hove to reach Final
Congratulations to the Hollingbury Park Gilbert Print Plate Team who defeated Brighton and Hove in a nail-biting semi final at West Hove on Monday. Led by skipper Phil Kane, we battled to a 2.5 - 2.5 draw before winning the tie at the first hole in the play off, secured by the pairing of Steve Huckle and Kevin Knight. The Foursomes format is a challenging one which makes this years run and appearance in the Final all the more impressive. Prior to today's win we have beaten Ifield, Littlehampton, and Haywards Heath. The Final takes place on Monday 14th September when we will play Cowdray Park at a venue to be confirmed.
